If duplicate contacts are accidentally created during an import, they can easily be merged.
Steps to Merge
1. Open the employee's profile and check if there is a duplicate. Duplicate profiles are displayed in a message.
2. Click on the profiles and select the correct one, often recognizable by existing system access.
3. Copy the target contact ID of the correct profile from the browser address bar.
4. Open the redundant profile and select “Merge”.
5. Paste the target contact ID and click "Check" to make sure it is the right profile, then confirm the merge.

Notice
The redundant contact will be removed and all training courses will be assigned to the original contact. If both profiles are participants in the same training course, you must remove one of them from the training.
