Goal/Measure Templates
Goal and measure templates provide a standardized structure for recording and managing goals and measures. These templates can be adapted to the specific requirements of a company and are set up by Evalea as part of the configuration.
Elements of a goal/measure template:
1. Name of the goal/measure template: The name of the template is displayed as a heading and serves as a categorization in the employee profile and in the conversation.
2. Options: Various options can be defined for each template:

- Show creation time : Choose from Year, Quarter, Month, or Nothing. This option will be displayed before each goal created using this template.
- Editability : Determines whether a target can be edited outside of a conversation.
- Assessability : Determines whether a goal can be assessed outside of a conversation (see “Questions for Assessment” for more details).
- Archiving : Option to move the target to the archive outside of a conversation.
- Out-of-Conversation Creation : Determines whether a target can be created outside of a conversation.
- Delete Requests : Determines whether a destination can be deleted outside of a conversation.
- Evaluation Request : Allows the employee or their manager to request an evaluation outside of an interview.
- Closure Statement : Option to mark a goal as completed outside of a conversation.
3. Questions for creation: Defines the fields that must be filled in when creating a new goal or measure. Available field types:

- Single-line or multi-line open questions
- Date
- multiple-choice and single-choice questions
- drop-down questions
- Competence (only if the competency module is activated)
4. Assessment questions: Specifies which fields must be filled in when assessing a goal. This may vary depending on the template. Available field types:

- Single-line or multi-line open questions
- Date
- multiple-choice and single-choice questions
- drop-down questions
- traffic light display
5. Automatic Deadline Reminder: Allows you to send an automatic reminder to employees when a goal reaches a certain deadline.
Goals in the Employee Profile
In the employee profile, all of an employee's goals are listed under the "Goals" tab. The overview offers various editing options, depending on the permissions set in the Goal Template Builder ( Goal Template Builder ):

1. Archive View: Allows you to view and restore archived targets.
2. Template name: Shows the name of the respective template.
3. Expand function: Expands the view of individual templates to view detailed target information.
4. Source of the goal: Indicates whether the goal was created as part of a conversation.
5. Options: Depending on the permissions, goals can be edited, commented on, completed or moved to the archive.
6. Completion function: Goals can be marked as “completed”.
7. Create new goal: Allows you to add a new goal for a specific template.
Goals in Interviews
Set permissions:
You can determine which permissions apply for each target element:


If a target element has been integrated, this element will be visible to all participants and offers various editing options:

- Archive access: The target archive can be opened via the archive icon to view completed or archived targets.
- Goal overview: Existing goals are automatically listed.
- Evaluation via speech bubble icon: If the template allows it, goals or measures can be evaluated.
- Further options: Further actions (delete, edit, archive, information) can be performed using the three dots.
- Expand reviews: If reviews already exist, they can be expanded or collapsed using the arrow.
