Competencies in Interviews

Existing competencies can be assessed and new individual competencies created during the employee interview. Graphic representations of previous competency assessments are also available.

Competency Assessment in Interviews

When you create an interview and click on the “+” symbol, the competency assessment settings page opens:


1. Show previous reviews: Choose whether previous reviews should be visible.
2. Add competency assessment: Allows you to assess competencies.
3. Show target values: Shows the target value if stored in the competency profile.
4. Competency filter: Filters competencies by category or type.
5. Calculate competency score: The score is calculated from the assessment of the interview leader.
6. Display mode: Select how the rating is displayed.
7. Checkboxes: Interview partners can mark competence focuses (e.g. strength or weakness).
8. Comment field: Activates a comment field for each competency.


In addition to the assessment, a graphical representation of previous competency assessments can be added. This shows both self- and peer-assessments in different colors and provides a visual basis for comparison.


Individual Competencies in Interviews

Adding individual skills to the interview is possible via a special icon. Both interview partners can add new competencies that appear in the competency overview of the employee profile. The prerequisite for this is that a competency assessment is available in the interview. 
 

 

 

Competency Score

 

The competency score sums up all competency assessments based on the stored scale values and displays them within the interview after the interview has been split. The assessment of the person leading the interview serves as the basis for the calculation.

Weighted competencies:
