The “Training Request” add-on allows employees to express requests for new training courses. This function is linked to a workflow to efficiently manage requests and create training courses directly from the requests.

Setting Options

The "Further training request" add-on offers the possibility of using a standardized form. Two Evalea templates are available, but can be adapted to company-specific requirements if necessary.

• Access: Via the Add-Ons menu in the main menu.
• Settings: Click on the gear icon to configure the options for the training request.

Settings in Detail

1. Form

• Choose one of the Evalea templates or request a template.

2. Forwarding to the manager

Option "No":

• The request appears in the dashboard element “Training Request” of the HR role.

• From there you can:
  • The status of the wish can be changed.
  • A further training can be created out of desire.
  • The request will be forwarded manually to the appropriate manager.

The wish also appears:
 In the employee’s “My Requests” dashboard item .
 In the manager’s “Requests from my employees” dashboard element (view only, not editable).

Option "Yes":

• The request appears in the dashboard element “Training Request” of the HR role.
• Additionally:
  • The request appears in the manager’s “Tasks” dashboard element .
  • The manager can approve or reject the request.
  • The manager receives an email notification with a link to the request.

The wish is still visible:
 In the employee’s “My Requests” dashboard item .
 In the manager’s dashboard element “Requests from my employees” .

After approval by the manager:

• HR can create further training directly from the training request.
• Further training courses that have already been created are marked in the dashboard element “Further training request” with a symbol that links directly to the further training.

3. Integration into the continuing education catalogue

• The desired option can optionally be displayed directly in the catalog.

  Notice

  The continuing education catalogue will be replaced by the learning library and will no longer be developed by Evalea .

   

Presentation of the Training Request in the Dashboard

The dashboard element “Training Request” can be individually integrated into the employee dashboards:

URL integration:

• Add the dashboard element “URL” with the reference to the “further training request”.
