Goals in Employee Profile
In addition to the Goals Overview in the Main Menu, you can find your own goals within your own employee profile.
Here, the average goal achievement per goal template is displayed based on individual KPIs.
Goal templates are templates that allow you to create goals using a guide. In the screenshot, the templates are called “Annual Goal” and “Measure”:

Note
The following explanations and representations may differ from your profile depending on the settings of your HR department.
Goals in Employee Reviews
Your goals can also appear within your reviews. Here, goals are also created, edited, and evaluated. The representation does not differ from that within employee profiles. However, there are a few specifics:
- Goals created in draft are only visible after the review has been shared.
- Whether goals can be created, evaluated, edited, deleted, or marked as completed depends on the guidelines of your HR department. It may be that goals are created in one review but not in another.

Note
Goals created within the employee profile or in an review can be displayed and evaluated in all subsequent reviews.
Create Goals
Goals can be created, evaluated, completed, and archived in both review and employee profiles.
However, it depends on the settings set by your HR department. It is possible that, for example, the creation and evaluation of goals should only take place within your review and is therefore restricted within your profile.
Click on “New Goal” to create a goal:

Then select from the available goal templates (view may differ):

Answer the questions needed to create a goal and click on “Create Goal”:

Note
A goal weighting may be pre-set. You can weight your created goals and create only as many goals until 100% is reached.

The weighting also affects goal achievement. Each goal counts according to its respective weighting.

Evaluate Goals
The progress of each goal can be updated. Click on the button “Update Progress”:

The history view will automatically open, in which all evaluations and changes are documented:

1: History View: This will automatically open during your evaluation. Click on “Details” to return to the normal view.
2: Status: With the help of the status, you can define the current state of your goal. You can choose from the following statuses:
- Planned: No progress has been made yet. The implementation of the goal is still planned
- In Progress: The implementation to achieve the goal has started and can already be measured.
- Completed: The goal has been achieved
- Not Achieved: The implementation has started, but the goal cannot be completed before the deadline.
- Postponed: The goal will not be achieved / cannot be achieved in the intended time and will be moved to the next period.
- Discarded: Achieving the goal is not realistic due to personnel/unexpected reasons, which is why the goal must be discarded.
3: Status Update: Depending on the evaluation form, the status can be recorded here. More information on the individual evaluation forms can be found further down.
4: Comment: Justify your evaluation here
5: Submit: Save your evaluation. If you have selected the status “Completed,” “Not Achieved,” “Postponed,” or “Discarded,” the option to archive the goal will also be displayed.

Archive Goals
Goals can be moved to an archive to keep the goals overview as organized and clear as possible.
This can be done either via the three dots per goal or directly during the progress update:

Archived goals are also included in your goal achievement KPIs. You can access the archive at any time within the goals tab:

From the archive view, you also have the option to retrieve accidentally archived goals back into the normal overview.
