Reopening a closed interview

HR has the ability to reset the status of a completed interview from “Confirmed” to “Shared” so that further entries can be made.

  • Confirmation required: After the interview is set back to shared, both parties must confirm the interview again to complete it.

Application examples: Ice-breaker questions

Ice-breaker questions help managers to loosen up the interview and create a pleasant atmosphere. These questions are only visible to the manager and serve as orientation without affecting the flow of the interview for the employee.

Stepp-by-step implementation guide

1. Add a test element: Create a text or test element at the beginning of the interview guide that is visible exclusively to the manager.

2. Formulate the text: Formulate the ice-breaker questions or helpful introductory questions that serve as an introduction for the manager.

3. Adjust participant rights:

  • Open the permissions settings for this item.
  • Manager: Set the permissions so that the manager can see the item in the draft and in the shared version, but is not allowed to edit it, as the item is purely informational.
  • Confirmed version: To ensure a clear view in the final, confirmed version, uncheck the box for "Confirmed". This way, the ice-breaker element will only be displayed in the draft and the shared version.

Important: This element is invisible to the employee, so it should not contain any essential information that the participant needs
